Play All Day, public game bord
Can we still play symbolically as adults?
We once discovered the world through play, but there comes a time when we begin to think abstractly. We build our understanding of the world more on ideas and less on physical objects. However, reality remains a created illusion, one that we can still regard as a game.
The Play All Day game board is a metaphor for reality—a mental scenario that you can feel and explore. Invent and make sense of it. Fill it with your own associations and possessions. Play according to your own logic and symbolism. Let the subconscious speak.
This game board was permanently exhibited at the Bellevue Theatre, allowing visitors to anonymously play alongside one another, creating a shared experience without the need for words.
It’s an invitation to play again in everyday life, to give yourself over like a child, without expectations—purely for your own pleasure, with love for life, and for inspiration.
